ST@RT UP! is an on-going AlleyNYC / @Gallery project that will bring work by cutting edge emerging and mid-career artists into the co-working space to share energy and inspiration with emerging businesses and entrepreneurs. We hope that this cross-pollination of ideas and energy will spawn a unique spirit of collaboration while inspiring Alley members, and lending exposure to new artists.

INTRODUCING ST@RT UP!
VENUE: AlleyNYC 500 37th Street, 17th Floor, NYC

Our jump start artist was LA2, the man who partnered and traveled with famed street-stylist, Kieth Haring in the early to mid eighties. Their collaborations generated a style that is instantly recognized ’till this day. So we thought it appropriate to launch our ST@RT UP! project with one of the largest collections of LA’s work ever to be housed under one roof to date.

We had a party to celebrate LA2, the spirit of creative energy, and AlleyNYC’s adventurous foray into the art world! .

@Gallery partnered with host, NYU professor, Michelle Dent:  400 Broome Street, Apt 412, NYC to create a show that encouraged dialog surrounding the act of display — how it alters context, meaning, and memory.
